Dingle

Dingle Spence is a Jamaican physician with training in both Clinical Oncology and Palliative Care and is the Senior Medical Officer of the Hope Institute Hospital, Jamaica’s only dedicated Oncology and Palliative Care unit. She is also a founder and co-director of the Jamaica Cancer Care and Research Institute (JACCRI), a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving access to quality cancer care for all Jamaicans.

From early on in her career, Dingle has had an interest in working with healing modalities which focus on bringing the mind, body, and spirit into harmony and balance, and to this end she pursued training in Traditional Chinese Medicine (acupuncture), Homeopathy, Vortex Healing, Reiki, and Shamanic Energy Medicine. Dingle is also a trained Psychedelic Guide, a path she chose after having her own powerful healing experiences with psilocybin mushrooms in guided journey settings.

Dingle brings her skills gained as a therapeutic communicator and compassionate caregiver from the palliative care setting into the Medicine Journey space, and along with her experience in energy work, she can provide support for people on their journeys of personal growth, for people who are seeking relief for grief, and for others who may be dealing with severe stress, burnout, or other personal issues.

Dingle is also undertaking research into the use of plant-based medicines such as cannabinoids and psychedelics for people suffering from serious illness and for those who may be facing the end of life.
